Trip to Maldevta FourBanyansResort

 It was early morning around 5 O'clock and we were getting ready to go to the train station. We booked 4 Uber SUVs since we were 20 people in total. Once there at 5 45 am, we got on the train and found our seats. The train ride was very long and took 6 hours. The name of the train was DDN Shatabdi Express. The train's food was interesting, to say the least... but the food itself didn't suit my tastes. The train ride in itself was just passing time on our mobile phones and occasionally taking a break to look out the window for the jungle that was a part of our ride.


I even saw a hazy orange figure. Who knows what it was? Maybe it was what I thought it was. Trains sure are fast.




Anyways, we took some autos from the railway station and headed to the resort. The auto I was in took a wrong turn and we fell behind the others. We still reached the place after clarifying.




The Hotel was very good. The food was good, the scenery and atmosphere were good. It even had a swimming pool.







I kinda learned how to swim there. Every night, there would be this live music show where they would just sing old Hindi songs. There was a river and it was very fast so we were not allowed to go too deep. We collected some precious-looking rocks *ahem* minerals and I just lost my stash. ←(ಠ_ಠ)→



After a good well-spent 5 days of holidays we got back home.

We heard about a cloud burst in the area we were in. Massive flooding. The bridge for the river collapsed. We just got saved.

 Drive in the clouds In the Maldevta Four Banyans resort, we were getting ready to go high up in the mountains to Mussoorie. The bus came and we got in. I sat at the back. The trip was supposed to be 45 minutes but ended up being longer than 2 hours just because of the   I N S A N E   traffic.
